Smoke and her sister Misty were brought across a city park by their mother, a kitten herself, to live in the cast iron plants in their foster mother's yard. They all claimed the wheel wells and axles of her truck to escape the rain and traffic. Luckily, they learned to stay on the sidewalk, in the garden beds, or under the truck.
Due to roving dog packs and wildlife in the park who eat kittens for snacks, it was decided to trap mama and the kittens to get them off the street.
Mama chewed through a weak part of her trap, but her babies went to the vet, were found healthy, and came to their foster home to learn how to be k ittens.
Smoke is the larger sister, active and affectionate. She will climb in your lap for pets, but is still shy when introduced to new things.
Because they are so bonded, it would be wonderful if they could go to a home together. Please take a look at Smoke and her sister Misty, they would make a wonderful addition to any household.
