Aurora and Lucy are sweet eight-year old female seal point sisters whose mom passed away suddenly in September. These lovely ladies are spayed, current on all shots, and have a clean bill of health from the vet. No special diets necessary with either of these ladies. They are both talkers and enjoy nothing more than a spot of sunlight and affection from their human(s). These are very mellow cats and once they feel comfortable with you they will be loyally at your side for some quality petting while they purr contentedly, however they don’t enjoy being picked up and carried around or anything in their face. They are refined, as was their mom, but not without some playful mischief as they chase one another or enjoy their toys. Aurora is the more assertive of the two, while Lucy likes to watch things from a safe perch before joining in. They are indoor cats, not fond of dogs but not aggressive towards them – more likely to hide, and they are used to family gatherings and inquisitive kids. Since their mom’s death, their human sister and brother have been stopping by daily to take care of food, water, litter, giving lots of love and affection as cats and humans try to deal with the loss of their beloved mom. Unfortunately, they can’t be brought into either home, both already full with rescues, resources are limited, and the current situation is not sustainable for the long term. Once it is ready, the house will be sold. Food, litter, boxes, bedding and toys will come with these two and their family will bring them to you if you live in SC, NC, GA, or Eastern TN.
