Night is a gorgeous nine-year old male who was adopted from a shelter and later abandoned so my mom took him in. Unfortunately, she died suddenly in September and he needs a new home. This guy seems to think he’s part dog. Everything you’ve heard about cats being aloof does NOT apply to this guy. He likes to talk to you, especially from his seat in your lap. Night even likes to curl up with you at bedtime and let his perpetual motor run. (White noise machines should include a purring cat!) He is neutered, chipped, current on all shots, and has a clean bill of health from the vet. No special diet is needed. Night is being cared for in the home, along with his two feline housemates (Aurora and Lucy), but once the house is ready it will be sold. Unfortunately, my brother and I already have full houses with our own rescues, so a new place is necessary. He’s ok with other cats and dogs, however, it would be preferable to have him in a home without another male cat if that cat is dominant. Night is not remotely aggressive, but he also will not back down if challenged. Night makes every effort to be an indoor/outdoor cat so be aware when you open the door. Having said that, this guy is no fool. He appreciates the love and food provided indoors and always returns. Night doesn’t seem to require much of a warm-up period. If you’re willing to love him, he will love you right back. Food, litter, boxes, bedding and toys will come with these two and their family will bring them to you if you live in SC, NC, GA, or Eastern TN.
