Pet Disposition: Very gentle, affectionate, people friendly. Not overly fond of dogs, but tolerates them. Gets along well with other cats.
Pet Background: Wendy was found behind a fastfood restaurant in Bluffton, SC. She was hungry and in need of rescue. So her foster mom scooped her up and brought her back to Columbia. This young cat (about 1 year old) is so very sweet and loving. Though appeared to be a stray, she is completely at home in a house, loves to sleep on the bed, runs to jump up into a lap and follows her foster dad around the house. She gets along well with other cats, sharing her foster home with 3 other cats. She is playful and loving. She will give nibbles of affection. She has occasionally jumped up on the counter or scratched the chair (she obviously is feeling very comfortable in her foster home), so will need gentle redirection at times. A spray bottle with water is very effective and she responds to the word "no".
