About Griffin:
Griffin was found running through a downtown neighborhood. He was in terrible shape, very underweight, covered in fleas, and had a severe case of heartworms. He has been recovering in a foster home where lots of love and attention have made him a new dog. He's been given his heartworm treatment (3 shots over several months) and seems to be feeling much better. He actually has an appetite now and a spring in his step. He yelps with excitement now when he sees the leash meaning walks are in the works. We tell him to calm down, he's not ready for excitement just yet.
As you can imagine, it's been a little on the pricey side paying for all of his medical issues. Like all rescues, ARC has limited cash reserves. Griffin's treatment is fast depleting these. Which means there are fewer funds available to help other animals in need. If you'd like to contribute to Griffin's recovery please go to http://goo.gl/A5doE for his FundRazr page. A donation in any amount is very much appreciated.
You can keep up with Griffin's progress and recovery at our FaceBook page "Animal Rescue Carolina, Inc" or on Griffin's FaceBook page "Help Save Griffin".
We hope that after it is all said and done, Griffin will be ready to go to a new, loving home. But we are in it for the long haul. However long it takes to get Griffin back on his feet, ARC will be there for him.
