Pet Background: Livie, a young golden retriever mix, was found in the middle of a very busy road. She'd obviously been outside for awhile. She looked a mess, scrawny with hip bones poking out and a flea collar that was old and too tight.
Pet Medical: Livie is approximately 4-5 months old, about 22 lbs (as of 10-15-2011). She has been to the vets for a check-up and her first shots. She will be spayed in the next week or so; as soon as we can get her an appointment. She's in pretty good shape considering she was living on the streets.
Pet Personality: Livie has that lovely golden retriever personality loves people. She came right to her foster mom when she first picked her up out of the street. She is a bubbly, bouncy puppy who wants to please. She gets along great with the dog and children in her foster home. She is also doing great with crate-training. Her foster mom is in the process of house-training her.
Livie is a lovely young girl who would do well in a home with children and other dogs. She is outgoing, sweet and very trainable. If you would like to find out more about Livie, please contact her foster mom Cynde at 803-446-4908.
